Precalculus: a Year in Review
My Growth as a Mathematician:
From the start of my junior year I have grown as a mathematician in my abelites to recognize and resolve errors as well as generate ideas. In all the work I have done this year I made mistakes, I haven't resolved all theses errors but I have recognized them. throughout this year and more specifically this past semester I have resolved my mistakes to the best of my ability, not because I wanted to but to increase my grade point average for this class. These corrections have helped me understand how to apply the math skills properly. The other habit of a mathematician I have grown in is to generate Ideas. Now when approaching a challenging problem I think about it from a variety of approach's rather than immediately plugging it into demos or photo math. I understand that a graph, equation, or diagram will help me reach the answer without needing a program. Moving into my senior year I hope I can continue to recognize my mistakes and correct them using a variety of approach's when necessary.
My Growth as a Osprey in this Class:
As an osprey I have used the two habits of heart and mind, perseverance and advocacy to succeed in this class. This class has been very challenging, whether that's understanding the material, working in groups, or just turning in assignments, I struggled with it all. Despite these struggles I have managed to end the year with work and a grade that I am not disappointed in by advocating for myself. Several times I have reached out asking for and extension as well as asking my peers for help. The other habit of heart and mind that has been the most helpful is perseverance. No matter how much I struggled I have continued to do my best, this can be seen in my test corrections. Perseverance and advocacy are skills I will practice in my life beyond this year and beyond school so I am grateful for the challenges I faced that made me further develop these skills.

POW 4: Planning the platforms
Meadows and Mall: report, write up, reflection
POW 2: Fire! Fire!
This is the second POW I wrote this year. It is an example of my excellent work in this class. In this pow I was challenged with new ideas and problems but was able to overcome these challenges and create a work I am proud to pressent with the help of my peers and teacher.
The Orchard Hideout Portfolio
The orchard hideout portfolio is another example of excellent work I completed this semester in pre calculus. Again I struggled but used what I had learned throughout my whole unit and help from my peers to produce a project I am proud to percent.
