Project Description:
Throughout the semester my class mates and I designed or sewed outfits to eventually create a fashion magazine. We went to a second hand store to buy clothes to upcycle or restyle in a unique way. I decided to style clothes for my grandmother. She gifted me several items that she wore as a teenager, a blue and white vinyl mini skirt and a pair of what she called hot pants. We then photographed our outfits, wrote descriptions, and wrote articles. Finally we put together all of our hard work into one magazine that was then printed and presented at all school exhibition.
Mes Croquis
This slide show showcases my coquis and character descriptions from our fashion unit in French 2. I along with my classmates learned how to draw croquis and designed outfits for four different characters. We then wrote a description of each character and what they are wearing. This project has prepared us for next semester when we will dive deeper into fashion and make a fashion magazine.

Story Slide Show
This slide show was our finial project this year, we were tasked with writing a story using the french we had learned. I wrote my story about the lives of a cat and dog. I then created a slide show with imagery to match my story.
Mille Feuille
This was my favorite project of the year, because I love to cook and bake and will hopefully make a career if it one day. I decided to make a mille feuille to challenge my baking abilities. This project was challenging but enjoyable i hope that this project will be repeated in years to come.
Mon Chat
For this project I was tasked with making a short video similar to the Henri, le Chat Noir videos. This project was engaging yet challenging. Finding the words to describe what I thought my cat was thinking was hard enough without the French. Overall I am happy with how my video turned out, But I do wish I could have worked more on my pronunciation. I hope you enjoy, Mon Chat Calvin!!
